Terms of Use

These terms are the rules of the road for Free Browser Games. By opening any page on this site you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

1. What this site is

Free Browser Games is a free, static arcade of 150 browser games in five categories. There is no account system, no subscription and no paid tier. The site pays its bills with ad space, which is clearly labelled whenever a real ad network is not yet connected.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to open and play the games on this site for your own entertainment. You may not:

  • copy, scrape or mirror the site, its pages or its game code;
  • sell, sublicense or republish the games as your own;
  • use the site to break the law, harass people or spread malware;
  • try to damage, overload or probe the site's infrastructure.

3. The games are provided as-is

Every game is offered for free, as-is. We keep them working and we add new ones, but we cannot promise that a game will always be online, error-free, or exactly what you hoped for. Scores, favorites and progress live in your own browser and can be lost when you clear your storage or change device.

4. Fair play

Play honestly. Do not cheat in a way that ruins the game for anyone else, do not automate the site, and do not use it to harass or impersonate anyone. Everything else is fair game.

5. No accounts, no personal data

This site has no accounts and no server-side database. What you save - your theme choice, favorites, recently played list, high scores and reviews - stays in your own browser and never reaches us. The Privacy Policy spells out the details.

6. Reviews and anything you write

Reviews you post are stored on your device and shown to visitors of that game page. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. Any review that breaks that rule can be removed.

7. Advertising

Ad spaces are part of the layout. Until an ad network is connected they show a labelled "Advertisement" placeholder that does nothing. Once a network is connected, ads are served by that network under its own terms and privacy policy, and any consent choice it needs is asked for at that time - never silently. Ad placements never block navigation: the close button on any interstitial ad always works.

8. Links to other sites

Pages may link out to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

9. Games and their owners

Every game here was made for this site, but the ideas standing behind them - the runners, the match-three boards, the word boards - belong to a long line of game designers. All games © their respective owners. If something here is yours and should not be, one email is enough and it goes.

Disclaimer

The site and every game on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory - including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that defects will be fixed, or that the site or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Scores, progress, favorites and reviews are stored in your own browser and may be lost or corrupted at any time. They are convenience features, not a backup service. Nothing on this site is professional advice - legal, medical, financial or otherwise - and using it creates no adviser-client relationship of any kind.

Advertising shown by a connected network is that network's content, not ours; we do not endorse and are not responsible for what an advertiser says or sells.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free Browser Games and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of - or inability to use - this site or its games, however caused and on any theory of liability. Because the site is free to use, our total liability for any claim about it is limited to nothing.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the site and its operator from any claim, demand or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Changes, severability, contact

These terms may change as the site grows; the date at the top always shows the last update, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions go to hello@freebrowsergames.io and reach a human.
